The standards we hold ourselves to on every article, review, and recommendation we publish.
Dobre Solutions exists to give ordinary people clear, honest tech help — the kind that respects their time and doesn't try to sell them something they don't need. Every piece we publish is judged against that mission first.
Topics come from three sources, in this order of priority:
Every product we recommend has been used by at least one team member for a meaningful period — typically 30 days minimum — on their own hardware or on a device we own for testing. We do not recommend products based on manufacturer briefings, press releases, or unboxing alone.
For "best of" listicles, we test the top 3–5 shortlisted products head-to-head where possible. Where full head-to-head testing isn't feasible (e.g. mesh router systems that require whole-house installation), we say so plainly in the article and explain how we made our shortlist.
Every article is reviewed by at least one team member other than the writer before it goes live. The reviewer's job is to challenge the weakest claim in the piece, flag any factual errors, and confirm every step of every walkthrough was actually followed.
Where a claim comes from an outside source (an academic study, a manufacturer specification, an industry report), we link to that source in the article. We do not lift text or numbers from other publishers without attribution.
Tech changes fast. Every guide is reviewed at least twice a year, and any recommendation older than 18 months is either re-verified or removed. When a guide is meaningfully updated, we change the "Updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, add a short note explaining what changed.
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Small typos are corrected silently. Factual errors are corrected and flagged with a "Correction" note at the top of the article, dated and describing what was wrong.

If and when we enable comments, they are moderated. We remove spam, personal attacks, and content that violates any applicable law. We do not remove critical or challenging comments made in good faith — disagreement is how we all learn faster.
All articles on Dobre Solutions are written and edited by named human writers. We may use AI tools for brainstorming, research, or short drafting assistance, but every published word is reviewed, rewritten where needed, and signed off by a human editor. We will never publish an entirely AI-generated article under a human byline.
Ultimate editorial responsibility rests with our founder and editor-in-chief. If you have a serious editorial concern that a reply from our support inbox doesn't resolve, email contact@dobresolutions.com and it will be escalated directly.
We test our recommendations across common consumer setups — different price ranges, device generations, and household sizes. We avoid framing that assumes every reader has the latest hardware, unlimited budget, or perfect Wi-Fi. Tech advice that only works for the wealthy or the technically fluent isn't useful advice.
